In this list, I’ve placed the top 5 greatest singers of all time that I’ve listened to. Sadly, 3/5 of these guys are dead which is a pity because you can only listen to 2 of them live. Luckily for you, the two that are alive are vocal geniuses that will calm your soul and bring you to a world of crazy high vocals and mind altering timbres.
Highest Range: Dimash
Mr Kudaibergen is the best sopranista of all time. I would even argue that he is the best singer on the Earth thus far. His range is enormous: he can sing from an F2 to a motherfricking D8. His talents were discovered and cultivated from a very young age. He is a prodigy in every sense of the world. He is a master of whistle notes, holding and phrasing belts, and multiple other techniques. I am surprised he isn’t world-famous yet.
Pop King Michael Jackson
Mr Jackson has one of the most recognizable voices to this day; its lightness and intonation are iconic. His hiccup sounds when singing, breathless stutters, and his hee-hee sound all remain in the subconscious of our minds. Michael’s vocal delivery is always good and the techniques he applies only amplifies the quality of his performances.
Operatic Tenor Lord Luciano Pavarotti
Sir Pavarotti has an incredibly clear tone, unlike most tenors. He can hold notes, without sounding strained and/or unnecessarily shaking. Luciano is able to retain a uniform timbre all throughout a performance if he wants and that for me is amazeballs.
Gender Bender Marcelito Pomoy
This guy can sing like a chad and a fair maiden and he does both really well. That’s it. Go listen to this AGT: The Champion’s contester now!
Rock King Freddie Mercury
Sir Mercury, the unforgettable head of the band Queen, died more than 20 years ago but he is still the best rock singer of all time. Freddy could achieve striking vibrato and could cover three full octaves. This man would’ve rocked your world with his dominating voice and bombastic stage presence.
