Vivid tales of the Witcher’s expeditions feature one of the best storytelling the fantasy genre can offer.

This mostly chronological order features books, short narratives, video games, comics, short films and the tv show. The mediums of storytelling in the best order starts from the top of this post which is the beginning and the end of this post which is the end of the witcher’s story for now. There is an exception in chronological order for Season of Storms which takes place after The Last Wish but is not recommended by media outlets to read after the Last Wish.

The Road of No Return(short story)

The Last Wish(compilation of short stories)

House of Glass(comic)

Sword of Destiny(compilation of short stories)

Reasons of State(comic)

Something More(the final story in the Sword of Destiny collection)

The Witcher(tv show) — depicts the Last Wish and Sword of Destiny for now

I believe another way would be to read until the Lady of Lake and then watch The Witcher tv show once it’s fully complete.

Season of Storms(novel) — should be read after the Sword of Destiny or after the Lady of the Lake

Blood of Elves(novel)

The Time of Contempt(novel)

Baptism of Fire(novel)

The Tower of the Swallows(novel)

Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales(video game)

The Lady of the Lake(novel)

The Witcher(video game)

The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings(video game)

Matters of Conscience(comic) — only if you picked the Iorveth path and spared the dragon

Killing Monsters(comic)

Killing Monsters(short film)

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and Hearts of Stone DLC(video game)

Of Flesh and Flame(comic)

Curse of Crows(comic) — only if Ciri became a witcher and Yennefer was romanced

Blood and Wine(video game DLC)

A Night to Remember(short film)
